Nowadays, there is no such thing as a suitcase without a lock. Every suitcase has a lock, and it's for a good reason. To protect your belongings and keep them safe during travel. Probeetle understands the assignment and offers a diverse range of replacement locks for you. With a focus on reliability and ease of use, these locks are designed to meet the needs of modern travellers.

Types of Probeetle Replacement Locks

Our lock collection is diverse and varies, offering solutions to different needs and preferences:

  • TSA-approved locks are crucial for international travel. With this lock, airport security can inspect your luggage without damaging the lock. They will use a universal TSA key, exclusive for security personnel, to ensure a hassle-free experience.
  • For those who prefer customizable security, combination locks are a good option. This type of lock allows you to set a combination of your choice, eliminating the need for keys. They are easy to use and offer a high level of convenience.
  • Key locks are reliable and suitable for those who prefer a more traditional security measure. With key locks, you will need a physical key to open your suitcase. These locks are durable and resistant to tampering — a solid choice for long-term use.

All of our Probeetle Replacement Locks are crafted from high-quality materials. This not only ensures a reliable level of security but also provides long-lasting peace of mind for your luggage.

Other Suitcase Spare Parts

In addition to replacement locks, we also offer other spare parts at our store, including wheels, handles, carry handles and zipper pullers. These components are designed to ensure that every part of your suitcase remains in top condition, giving you a complete solution for luggage maintenance.

How to Choose the Right Probeetle Replacement Locks

Finding the right lock depends on your individual preferences and travel requirements. Our Identify Your Suitcase tool can help you find compatible locks based on your luggage brand and model.

If you are travelling internationally, a TSA-approved lock is your best option. For more convenience without keys, choose a combination lock. If you're looking for the opposite, get a key lock for a more traditional security.

DIY Installation for Probeetle Replacement Locks

Installing a Probeetle Replacement Lock is a breeze with these simple and detailed instructions. Prepare a Phillips screwdriver for the installation process.

  1. Lay your suitcase flat and open the maintenance zipper on the side of the suitcase lock.
  2. Depending on the suitcase model, your old lock can be on the top or side of the suitcase. Locate the mount behind the lock, usually secured with 2-4 screws.
  3. Unscrew the lock and keep the screws.
  4. Gently remove the old lock and replace it with a Probeetle Replacement Lock.
  5. Re-insert the screws, and your new lock is installed!
  6. Test the lock a few times and check for any issues or loose screws.

Maintenance and Security Tips

Regular cleaning is the least you can do to ensure a lock's longevity. Wipe down the lock with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt that can accumulate and interfere with lock operation.

With a combination lock, you want a combination that is difficult to guess to avoid using obvious sequences. Write down the combination and store it somewhere safe in case you forget it. As for key locks, store your keys securely and avoid sharing them with others.
